First, lets clear up a few things about our peels in general:
What Do Facial Peels Do?
Peels are simply a form of chemical exfoliation. They remove dead skin cells, mainly through the use of acids that loosen the bond between the cells, and dissolve debris away. Unlike physical exfoliants (like scrubs and microdermabrasion), peel ingredients sink into the skin, targeting deeper layers than a physical exfoliant can reach. Despite this, a peel is often considered more gentle than a scrub. For those with a sensitive skin type who still want to smooth and refresh their complexion, a light peel is a fantastic option that won’t aggravate their complexion.
What Ingredients Are In A Peel?
Acids are the main active ingredient in a facial peel. For natural peels like our Eminence Organics VitaSkin Exfoliating Peels, we use Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA) sourced from fruit and plants.

Will my skin flake off for days after the session?
Nope, we use a plant and fruit based peel which is gentler on your skin than other chemical peels. You get results, without the downtime.
What will my skin look like?
Stimulation with some peels may leave you a bit rosy after your session. This will fade within a few hours. This rosy coloring is nothing to be afraid of, it just means that it has increase circulation in the skin and it's continuing to do it's job!
Will it hurt?
Depending on the type of peel used for your skin type, you may feel very little to a warming sensation during the peel but clients don't normally associate this warmth with a pain.
What care should I take between session?
Keeping up with a healthy skin care routine between sessions will only help you reach your skin goals faster and maintain results. In your first session of the series, the Esthetician will do a full consultation and create an in-home care routine. Your Facial Peel Series Package includes a $58 retail credit to use toward Eminence Organics products. If you are new to this line, we would suggest checking out a starter kit.
With any peel, SPF and limiting direct sun exposure is always recommended.

Packages expire 12 months from purchase date. Any unused credits will be lost.
