Providing Wellness Through More Than Massage and Skin Care
Celluma Light Therapy
Enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. And it's not just for your face.
Benefits of Light Therapy: Based on extensive research, low-level-light therapy devices have been cleared by the FDA, and shown to manage:
Mild to moderate acne
Superficial, benign vascular and pigment lesions
Periorbital wrinkles and rhytides
Sub-optimal local blood flow and circulation
Minor muscle and joint aches & pain
Pain and stiffness associated with arthritis
Minor arthritis or muscle spasms
Minor chronic neck and shoulder pain of a musculoskeletal origin
Our Celluma has 3 settings, allowing us to pick the treatment to benefit your targeted area most.
The 1st setting is Acne: This is the blue dominant program and is anti-bacterial. The blue causes the C.Acnes bacteria to destroy itself.Blue is the least penetrating of all three wavelengths. In the Acne setting there is also lots of red and a little infrared being emitted. These 3 wavelengths work synergistically to enhance outcomes. The red increases micro-circulation to bring more oxygen and nutrients to the area for healthier skin and tissue repair. The red also reduces the redness and inflammation associated with the acne lesions. Red enhances immune and lymphatic response for better drainage/removal of dead cells and toxins from the area. Keratinocytes also respond well to the red wavelength and are responsible for skin tone and firmness.
The 2nd setting is the Red dominant program, called Wrinkles. This is the wrinkle/anti-aging program and may be used for everything other than Acne or Pain. It is the only program with almost equal emission of each of the 3 wavelengths. We will use it for all skin related conditions. It is ideal for use following laser, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels, and injections. Also, ideal for use following surgery and deep ablative procedures accelerating healing about 3-6x the normal rate. Many different cells respond really well to Red and Infrared. See additional information below
The 3rd setting is Near IR - Aches & Pain. This is near-infrared dominant and is the deepest penetrating setting. In the Aches & Pain setting there is also lots of red and a small amount of blue being emitted. We will use this for all pain, joint, muscle issues. This is an anti-inflammatory setting and is excellent for increasing micro-circulation, angiogenesis and neurogenesis. This is a great setting for supporting any condition located deeper in the tissue, such as post-surgical incisions.
The energy delivered by the LEDs has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the production of collagen — the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Research has shown that LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, improve skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation. The treatment is for all skin types, and is non-ablative, non-invasive, painless, and requires absolutely no downtime. Patients or clients can return to their normal activity immediately after the treatment.

What is Halotherapy? Halotherapy, also known as dry salt therapy, is an alternative medicine practice that involves breathing in tiny salt particles. Many find relief from a wide range of health and wellness concerns when experienced regularly, including respiratory issues, sleeping problems, stress, and more.
Benefits of Halotherapy Although modern science is only now beginning to conduct large scale studies on the benefits of halotherapy, proponents of the practice believe that salt therapy may:
clear up sinuses
relieve allergies and asthma symptoms
enhance overall lung function
improve sleep and snoring problems
relieve symptoms associated with COPD, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis
purify pollen, toxins, and viruses from the lungs and sinuses
decrease inflammation in the respiratory system and skin
alleviate skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea
reduce stress and improve mood
How Does Salt Therapy Work? So how exactly does salt become breathable? Let's break it down!
A halogenerator breaks salt down into microparticles before dispersing a salt aerosol throughout a temperature and humidity-controlled room.
According to the Salt Therapy Association, the benefits of halotherapy lie in salt's natural properties. Pure sodium chloride is highly absorbent, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial.
As you breathe in the dry salt aerosol, the salt soaks up toxins, allergens and other foreign substances in the lungs and respiratory tract. The anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties may also work together to clear out any pathogens wreaking havoc on the airways—allowing the halotherapy recipient to breathe easier.
Imagine a toothbrush gently removing the build-up of foreign substances throughout the respiratory tract. As your airways clear, more oxygen can flow into the body, giving you more energy and strengthening your immune system. Any pollutants, bacteria or other materials are dissolved by the salt or expelled from the body through natural processes.
Skin exposed to the salt air may also benefit from salt's characteristics—eliminating bacteria and reducing inflammation both on and just below the skin's surface. Dry salt may stimulate cell renewal and enhance skin rigidity.
Are There Any Side Effects of Salt Therapy? There are no potentially harmful side effects of dry salt therapy. Some people have developed a slight cough or runny nose following their sessions.
However, this is the body’s natural response to the salt working to remove toxins and mucus from the airways.
How Frequently Should I Visit A Dry Salt Room? Everybody is different. The number of times you need to experience a dry salt treatment will vary depending on your specific symptoms or condition.
In most cases, a series of treatments will achieve the best results. And to keep your progress, it’s a good idea to schedule regular visits to the salt room. We call this “routine maintenance” and it’s these habits that’ll keep you feeling and looking your best!
How Should I Dress For A Salt Room Session? All spa experiences should leave you feeling relaxed and at ease.
For salt room sessions, we advise wearing loose-fitting, comfortable and light-colored clothing. (Salt particles will be easier to see on darker colors. However, it will not harm your clothing.) The salt room is typically between 68 and 72 degrees. Keep that in mind if you tend to get cold easily.
If the purpose of your salt room session is to address a skin condition, you'll want to have as much of the affected area exposed as possible.
Here’s What You Can Expect… As you enter our Salt Room, you'll be drawn in by the feature wall, backlit by Himalayan salt. Enjoy the soft ambient glow of the room as you take a seat. The lights will dim, inviting you to relax a little more. We will provide a blanket and a heated neck pillow at your request.
This is your time. You can read a book or magazine, meditate, or simply rest listening to the soothing music playing in the background.
Throughout the session you will hear the soft, rhythmic hum of the generator as it sprays a fine mist of salt into the air.
When your session has ended, you may have a light layer of salt on your lips. Easily brush away any salt that collects on your clothing, if any.
The entire experience should leave you feeling rejuvenated and looking forward to your next session! Not to mention, a visit to the salt room is an amazing treatment to add to a massage or facial for total body wellness and to enhance your relaxation.
